foreign workers and the middle

Tiny Singapore's population is expected to decline by 200,000 as companies lay off a massive number of foreign workers during a worsening recession, Swiss banking giant Credit Suisse said.

is that something to be yeah-ed about or something to worry about? 200,000 is a huge number, mind you.

so, all along, i was here at home and not in school on tuesday. yes, but later on, i will surely have many many make-ups to do. and one of the make-ups i hate is chem prac. freaking science. on monday, i went home 2 periods earlier because after sneezing and mucus dripping, i couldnt take it anymore. and to add to the discomfort, i was sort of annoyed with the noise in school and of course, i was afraid i would pass the disease to frens of mine. so with help from my chem tutor, i went home right after her tutorial. :) and then, a visit to the doctor.
